About this job
We're looking for a Senior TM person in Estonia or EU that will coordinate our fraud prevention efforts. We understand fraud as an expenditure item to minimise and not as constant threat, hence we expect a person in this role to see things for what they are. We want to avoid premature judgement of users yet exercise the necessary prudence and attentiveness.
What you will do
- Perfom risk assessments across for different Wert products and markers that we operate in
- Create fraud prevention strategies, policies and procedures, implement them
- Work closely with dev and product team to make sure that fraud is minimised but not at the cost of user experience
- Investigate suspicious transactions and fine tune the system
- Train existing staff and hire new people
- Dispute and win chargeback cases
Requirements
- Extensive experience with different machine learning software for transaction monitoring
- Good knowledge of card schemes rules and regulations in regards to 6051 and 5817 MCC chargebacks
- Work experience in IT and sound understanding of how the work in tech is organised
- No fear of fraudsters or weird transactions
- Familiarity with the way event-driven software architecture works
- ability to grasp the bigger picture and a systematic approach to your job
- Higher education in relevant field
- Russian language will be a great plus
