As an Engineer in Data Solutions team you’ll design, create and maintain value adding data solutions and enable data automation. You work together with your team to deliver our roadmap and realize our business goals. Working together with other Data teams and other key stakeholders, you will deliver exciting new platforms, features and services that will increase our capacity, capabilities and create exceptional experiences for our customers.

 

✍️ Your daily tasks will be 

• Ensure Data Solutions and Business Intelligence best practice is adhered to;
  
• Development and testing of the data products/solutions;
  
• Create, maintain, and develop effective strategies for data governance;
  
• Create value adding data products/solutions;
  
• Create data solutions to enable/improve automation;
  
• Data products/features to identify risk or operationally interesting activity;
  
• Discover and enable platform for system to system Actionable Intelligence;
  
• Data profiling and validation for data quality and integration requirements;
  
• Ensure all Data Solutions services are secure and compliant with company policy;
  
• Support other data functions (BI and Engineering);
  
• Manage the resolution of technical issues which arise from Data Solutions applications.

✔️ What we expect from you

• At least 3 years of experience in BI and software development;
  
• Strong problem solving skills with an emphasis on product development;
  
• Expertise of data streams;
  
• Good skills in software development using javascript languages (Node.js, React.js, Vue.js), Elixir language is a plus;
  
• Experience with using version control software;
  
• Ability to work with different types of data sources (relational databases, NoSQL databases, APIs, offline files) and strong expertise in SQL;
  
• Basic understanding of server administration (Unix systems);
  
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral;
  
• Technical project management skills;
  
• Experience of machine learning and personalization are desirable but not required.
