DevOps Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a solution-focused person, who is a great communicator and a team player. Your role is to participate in cross-product and platform development - work closely with the product team and Engineering Leads to develop new features and services. You will be working on the core architecture of the company’s backend systems and developing and maintaining scalable software solutions and high-quality web platforms that are built up with automation in mind.

YOUR DAILY ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:

- Taking part in managing development and production environments
- Maintaining and further developing centralized monitoring, logging and alerting systems
- Automating as much as possible
- Overlook the certificates and domains management
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND COMPETENCIES:

- Experience with Linux(Debian) based servers
- Hands-on experience with configuration management tools (Terraform or Ansible preferred)
- Experience with AWS cloud and other cloud service providers.
- Results-oriented, also available outside standard business hours if needed
- Working together with infrastructure and development teams to improve our products and
processes
- Promoting DevOps culture

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

- Some experience or knowledge also with managing Windows servers would be a plus.
- Experience or understanding of high volume transactional applications development, using
market leading web technologies
- Knowledge / experience with Agile software development methodologies
- Any certificates proving your professional skills
- You love optimization and the beauty of automation
- Working knowledge with large data sets (data mining, data analytics and reporting)
- Experience with distributed systems
- Experience with CI/CD tools, Docker and Kubernetes
