Position offered:

SOFTWARE AND SYSTEM VERIFICATION STAFF ENGINEER

As the Staff Engineer of Software and System Verification Department (SVD), you report directly to the Chief Engineer SVD and manage a group of engineers within Stoneridge Electronics by giving technical direction, create working principles. You will be responsible for all aspect of software development and system verification. You will lead a team of 15 engineers at our site in Tallin. You will be part of a global management team for the global SVD engineering group.

Responsibilities:
• Lead and develop the SVD group to a high-performance team
• Develop the team’s individual and collective capability and support projects with the right competence
• Develop the technology and competence in the software and verification area with focus on agile practices
• Developing processes and tools
• Plan and manage resource allocation

Requirements:
• Sc. or M.Sc. in relevant field (Electrical Engineering or Computer Science)
• Strong and proven leadership skills, ability to lead, coach and get things done in global, cross-functional environments
• Deep understanding and interest in lean and agile principles for software development and verification.
• Experience from coaching Scrum Masters and Scrum teams
• Experience from SAFe
• Minimum 10 years professional work experience and hands-on experience in embedded software development ideally from the automotive industry
• Global mindset and experience from working with remote sites in international setting
• Strong drive and ability to deliver results
• Structured and organized
• Strong communication and networking skills
• Excellent language skills (spoken and written) in English

• Ability and readiness to travel.
