We are looking for a junior-middle-level Product Owner, who will be responsible for working on an Agile team to develop features and user stories for the business. The Product Owner will collaborate with stakeholders across the business to assist the agile team in translating those needs into functional specifications. Working directly with the business stakeholders, this role will manage the process of prioritization that directly contributes to the team’s ability to develop, test, and deploy new digital products.
Responsibilities
- Providing vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project and create requirements
- Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product
- Define product vision, road-map and growth opportunities
- Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
- Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
- Lead the planning product release plans and set the expectation for delivery of new functionalities
- Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
- Research and analyze market, the users, and the roadmap for the product
- Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends
Requirements
- Previous working experience as a Product Owner or Project Manager
- Deep understanding and experience with Agile methodologies
- Overall understanding of technologies used in the product
- Strong verbal/written communication, presentation, and leadership skills, as well as creative and strategic thinking
