Purchasing Manager (Maternity Cover)

Fresenius Medical Care aims to continuously improve the quality of life of patients with kidney disease by offering innovative products and treatment concepts of the highest quality. We have 14 Clinics located in Estonia.

As Purchasing Manager you will report directly to Finance Manager Estonia and you will work in close cooperation with Regional Procurement and local stakeholders of FMC Estonia. The position is limited until end of 2023 with option to extend it. In this role you have remote work possibility.

Main accountabilities
• Hold responsibility for the SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) system including administration, content maintenance, training of system users, first level support
• Manage and optimize procurement according to goals set define cost and process optimization opportunities to improve Company profitability and performance
• Constantly drive realization of procurement savings
• Negotiate with external vendors to secure the most advantageous terms and conditions
• Responsible for the supply of goods and services necessary for everyday operations of the company
• Examine, archiving and re-evaluate existing vendor contracts


Secondary Responsibilities
• Facility management of Office at Tallinn
• Preparation of Employee contracts and annexes
• Providing employees with necessary tools and materials
• Correspondence of generic e-mail and phone calls

Your personality is characterized by strong analytical skills and entrepreneurial driven approach. You are efficient and confident communicator. Your independent way of working and problem-solving approach enables you to meet deadlines. You are organized, pragmatic and result oriented and you are not afraid to do operational work as well.

• Preferably a bachelor or master’s degree in Economics or Finance
• Preferably a few years professional experience in procurement
• Experience of working in a busy administration or commercial department
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills)
• Awareness of health, safety & environmental responsibilities
• You speak Estonian and English
• Finnish or Russian are advantage
• Knowledge of SAP is advantage
