You are going to need:
- Interest in robotics, path-planning, and navigation.
- Interest of solving real-world problems.
- Experience with Agile development processes.
- Professional programming experience with C++ / Python, ROS, Linux.
Tööülesannete kirjeldus
As a navigation software engineer you would be teaching our robotic systems how to:
- Plan routes to traverse harsh environments independently.
- Avoid rough terrain features, vegetation, etc.
- Push through said rough terrain features if possible and reasonable.
General Tasks:
- Develop, test and debug motion planning algorithms and mission planning logical architecture.
- Close collaboration with team members and other teams in agile environment.
- Test and debug developed solutions on hardware (i.e. UGV).
- Develop a deep understanding of state-of-the-art methods across variety of domains, including
path planning, motion planning, control systems, and software design and architecture.
- Continuous learning and skills improvement by attending in-house and external courses, reading manuals and accessing new applications.
