Starship Technologies is revolutionizing deliveries with autonomous robots. The robots are designed to deliver food, groceries, and packages across college campuses and neighborhoods in minutes. We are now seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team. You will work on establishing partnerships to build a compelling offering for Starship’s delivery customers. The scope will initially be markets of Estonia and Finland, with future possibility to contribute more broadly
In the role of Business Developer Manager you will be:
- Growing the range of options available to Starship’s delivery customers
- Identifying and approaching potential companies to partner with
- Negotiating agreements
- Scaling up and deepening existing partnership
- Coordinating the support that you need from the rest of the organization to achieve your goals
You'll be set up for success if you:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in some aspects of business development, sales, e-commerce, or supply chain experience
- Proven track record of successfully building productive business relationships and good quality partner/stakeholder management
- Strong understanding of productization and go-to-market activities
- Proven experience in project management and/or retail background a plus
- Proven written and verbal communications skills, interpersonal skills and customer service, and ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Exceptional organizational skills with ability both to manage timelines and to be flexible to changing circumstances and needs
- Analytically adept and proficient in key tools (e.g. MS Office, Google tools), and able to develop, review, and guide quantitative and qualitative analysis to assist with decision making issues
- Fluent written and spoken English; Finnish and/or Estonian language is seen as an advantage
