Lead Data Engineer. BI & Data

Responsibilities:

• Perform regular analysis on all industry trends and standards according to BI & Data Warehouse technologies
• Define guidelines, standards, and best practices, to design effective and efficient databases, and guide a team into its implementation
• Develop logical and physical data models as per requirements
• Define technically structured documentation rules 
• Monitor all data integrity performance, find gaps, and define actions to correct them
• Lead development team within stream or project
• Ensuring functionality implemented by the team according to requirements and consistent with whole solution
• Development task splitting between people in the project and deciding technical task prioritization
• Collaborate across organization to ensure that BI&DW databases and systems are created according to master plan and data governance
• Mentor and train junior data engineers and guide them in understanding BI&DW best practices and standards

Skills and experience:

• Experience in technical team leading, in building meaningful relationships within the team
• Good communicational skills
• Ability to take ownership
• Experience and deep understanding on Software Delivery LifeCycle, BI/Data Warehouse methodologies and types 
• Relational Databases development experience and knowledge
• Strong understanding of ETL principles, knowledge about and experience with different ETL techniques (batch, real time, near real-time)
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools
• Experience with integration protocols and techniques 
• No-SQL databases understanding and experience would be as an advantage
