What do you need to succeed in the role?

You are familiar with ITIL and/or IT Service management framework and/or have experience working in an international IT organization where service provisioning is supervised by government regulators. RTFM (yes, it is about reading manual) expression is not for you… for you, it is about giving me the admin rights I will make it work. You have:
 

  • Understanding of processes involved in IT service management, and ability to identify how they are executed on a tool level
  • Knowledge of REST APIs 
  • Strong service attitude - you build lasting customer relationships and strive for efficiency and effectiveness
  • Commitment to quality standards and continuous improvement
    Desire and ability to quickly learn and apply new concepts
  • Good knowledge of Atlassian Confluence and Jira (including SIL – Simple Issue Language) 
  • Certification in ITIL, DevOps, or Agile would be a huge bonus


    As a person, you are good at planning and have exceptional self and time management skills. You have strong analytical skills and love a structured and systematic approach. You are excellent in communication and fluent in English.

What will be the challenge in the role:

In the role of the Jira Service Management Engineer you will be part of the international Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) division and contribute to provisioning payments, invoicing, and risk management services to customers across Europe. You will:

  • configure JSM product (including scripting) to enable service providers to use ITSM processes in the efficient and user-friendly fashion
  • participate in defining JSM development road map and architecture design to enable integrations with various DevOps and Agile practices supporting tools
  • collaborate with colleagues - JSM users and will translate their needs into requirements and solution specifications for JSM functionality development that includes alignment on a common way of working with ITSM process inside JSM
  • create JSM maintenance and data governance documentation
  • ensure that JSM is managed in adherence to defined standards and policies and will monitor its health status and performance
  • execute a systematic approach to continuous improvement of the JSM tool, including the critical review of consumer requirements, to increase the overall quality and efficiency of the tool
