Starship Technologies is revolutionizing deliveries with autonomous robots, which means that engineering is at the very core of what we do. To continue on this mission, we are looking for a Senior IT Specialist to join our Internal IT team.
In this role, you will…
- Gain a deep application-level and architecture knowledge of the systems;
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues;
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot problem areas as needed;
- Analyse the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems, develop and implement strategies for improving or further systems leveraging;
- Review new SaaS tools requests, maintain existing tools and integrations, develop and keep good relationships with partners;
- Provide subject matter expertise for other team members on possible migration and integration with other applications;
- Define and document new operational procedures for continuous improvement;
- Provide full support of onboarding and offboarding of employees and contractors with various integrations and automations;
- Participate in defining IT infrastructure strategy and architecture;
- Perform other duties as assigned.
You’ll be set up for success if you have:
- 4+ years experience working in Internal IT;
- Experience and good working knowledge of Windows, Mac, Linux, IOS and Android;
- Experience with computer and network security, network and systems administration, and account and accesses management;
- Experience in working with IT service desk system and following ITIL standards;
- Experience with various SaaS tools;
- Great communication skills and you like working with people;
- A positive can-do attitude and ability to independently make decisions and manage projects;
- Fluent English language skills.
It’s beneficial if you also have:
- Experience with Okta;
- Previous experience working in a startup IT environment.
