About The Role

In the QA Automation Engineer role, you will be responsible for defining, developing, and implementing quality assurance best practices and procedures, test plans, and other QA assessments to drive innovative initiatives, as well as executing existing ones for The Intertrust Platform. You’ll work alongside stakeholders on a variety of software engineering projects involving test development, data virtualization, data pipelines, API test design, and data management.

Requirements

  • Define, develop, and implement quality assurance best practices and procedures, test plans, and other QA assessments 
  • Define testing scope and objectives, and participate in all aspects of testing, including functional, regression, performance, and system integration through the UAT and delivery phases of the SDLC
  • Develop automated testing procedures using tools, scripts, and SQL/data sets
  • Possess a thorough understanding of relational databases such as SQL Server and DB2, and the ability to construct complex queries using industry-standard tools
  • Solid understanding of the software development ecosystems and Agile methodologies
  • Collaborate and align with developers, product owners, and subject matter experts 
  • Develop frameworks and automated test cases using Selenium and Python, leveraging your expertise with BDD frameworks and Gherkin

Experience

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience as a QA Automation Engineer.
  • Experience in UI and REST API test automation
  • Hands-on experience in SQL Queries
  • Hands-on software development and troubleshooting experience with JavaScript and Java
  • Experience with Continuous Integration systems
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, constantly changing atmosphere; able to prioritize work appropriately across changing contexts 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
