Luminor Corporate Banking division is dedicated to provide full range of best-in-class financial services for large and SME size companies in Baltic countries. 

Markets Middle Office is part of the 1st line of defence and performs independent controls of Markets trading activities. Analyst is expected to contribute to development and implementation of holistic control and support for the value chain of Markets business area.



Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure independent monitoring of trading activities to risk management policies and procedures
  • Contribute to development of holistic control and support for the value chain of Markets area, including market, credit, operational and financial risks
  • Manage the valuation of financial instruments and verification of results
  • Perform analysis and verification of P&L from markets related activities
  • Perform operational control of markets related activities
  • Support Markets: improve processes according to specifics of products, ensuring best practice of internal routines
  • Perform personal tasks with commitment and according to Luminor values
  • Contribute to the team and company performance and collaboration
  • Take responsibility in professional self-development


Skills and experience:

  • University degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or similar field
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel
  • Good understanding of instruments in financial markets
  • Initiative and high-level of responsibility
  • Result-oriented and self-motivated
  • Strong cooperation and communication skills
  • Experience in market and liquidity risk management, Markets and/or Treasury Front Office or support/control areas or in similar positions is an advantage
  • Knowledge of SQL and MS Access is an advantage
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to markets activities (e.g. MiFID II, EMIR) is an advantage
  • Advanced level of English: fluent in any spoken and written communication within the range of own personal and professional experience
