What is the purpose and content of this role?
In Fortumo, we are successful only if our customers are successful. That’s where the Connectivity Operations Specialist comes in. You'll be given the chance to maintain and help in expanding our mobile operator integrations portfolio consisting of 120 billing partners and mobile operators across 95 countries.
Our most important focus in the Connectivity team is to implement changes and manage projects regarding our connections to mobile operators in tight cooperation with other teams inside and outside of Fortumo. As a Connectivity Operations Specialist, you will be solving ongoing issues and incidents together with our connectivity partners and ensuring we maintain good relations with them. These topics can range from small configurations to large technical changes that will need extensive preparation and follow-through. You will also be involved in monitoring activities to ensure we spot problems quickly and keep our payment processing healthy.

Skills and requirements we are looking for:
- Degree in IT, Economics, or similar
- Very good B2B communication and negotiation skills
- Great analytical skills and attention to detail
- Good with numbers and using spreadsheet software
- Firm understanding of back-office systems or a will to learn it
- Ability to handle stress and high workload with poise and ease
- A can-do attitude and ability to work independently without close supervision
- Proactivity, you take the initiative to improve our day-to-day workflows
- Fluency in written and verbal English
- Experience working with technical documentation and requirements is beneficial, but not required
- Previous experience in the software and service industry is not a must
