The Python Developer work with the back-end of web and mobile applications for the robot and the user. This will mean discussions with stakeholders to define software requirements, planning projects to deliver proposed software solutions and then executing these projects.

This role will run in parallel to the other engineer roles and report directly to the CTO. Collaboration across all staff is required, ie. with other software-based disciplines, as well as mechanical and electronics engineers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality applications. They will also be responsible for designing and implementing testable and scalable code. 

Essential Qualifications/Knowledge

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
Minimum 3 years of Python experience
Minimum 3 years of Django experience
Diligent version control using GitHub/ GitLab or similar

Desirable Skills & Abilities

Experience with AWS is recommended
Taken multiple products through from initial development to support post deployment
Experience in full-stack development and mobile application projects
