Tallinn: Full-time Cultural and Creative Industry Project Manager

The Goethe-Institut e.V. is the cultural institute of the Federal Republic of
Germany with global outreach. We promote knowledge of the German
language abroad and foster international cultural cooperation. We
convey a comprehensive picture of Germany by providing information
on Germany's cultural, social and political life.
The Goethe-Institut e.V. initiated the EU project Creative Ports (2019-
2021), which is funded as part of the Interreg Baltic Sea Region
Programme. – Creative Ports - The aim of the project is to promote the
internationalization of the cultural and creative industries (CCI) in the
Baltic Sea Region. After completion of this project, the CCI Contact Desk
will be set up at the Goethe-Institut in Estonia for a period of five years
(2022-2026). The overarching and central task of this new
institutionalised networking body is to support and expand future
cooperation and further networking of the project partner institutions in
the Baltic Sea Region.
The Goethe-Institut in Estonia is looking for a full-time project manager
(40 hours per week) for the CCI Contact Desk from November 1, 2021 or
later. The position is initially limited until December 31, 2024 (with a
prospect of extension). Payment is made in accordance with the local
remuneration scheme of the Goethe-Institut in Estonia and the
applicant’s previous knowledge. The place of work is the Goethe-Institut
in Tallinn.

The main responsibilities of the position are:

- Implementation of measures through which the network of the
Creative Ports project can have a lasting effect
- Organization of regular network meetings
- Identification of new network partners and opportunities for
cooperation
- Exchange with CCI networks and CCI funding institutions in
Germany and Europe
- Participation in communication activities via newsletter, social
media and Creative Ports online platform
- Promotion and expansion of existing forms of cooperation within
the framework of Creative Ports
- Conception, planning and implementation of CCI projects in the
Baltic Sea Region including budget planning
- Monitoring of funding schemes and funding opportunities within
cultural and creative industries sector as well as participation in
applications.

Requirements:

- University degree in a related field (preferably BA or MA in the
field of CCI, project management, culture management, economics,
international relations, or similar
- Experience in project management
- Good knowledge in the field of promoting the cultural and
creative industries in the Baltic Sea Region
- Experience with international communication and networking
- Ability and willingness to think analytically and innovatively
- Willingness to go on business trips in the countries of the Baltic
Sea Region
- Experience and readiness to implement the range of tasks both
digitally and physically
- Strong IT skills, in particular in regard to Excel, Word, Powerpoint,
Teams, Zoom, Adobe Connect, Moodle, Padlet, Miro and other
online tools
- Very good knowledge of English; a knowledge of German is
considered an advantage.
