About the position

As our new SRE - Site Reliability Engineer/DevOps Engineer, you will be part of the Development team in Tallinn, Estonia. The position is crucial to supporting our mission to make the financial mar-kets accessible to everyone. Here are some of the tasks and challenges you will tackle:

• Develop the Blocktrade.com platform
• Integrate the platform with external service providers
• Perform code reviews
• Identify bottlenecks and improve performance of all our systems
• Implement configuring development and operational environment using concepts from Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment
• Set up monitoring of all platform components and define alert triggers for service degradation
• Run the platform on Azure Cloud

Technologies in our stack: Angular 10, Phyton 3+, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, Nginx, Kong, Docker, Docker Compose, Kubernetes, Linux

About you

We are looking for an ambitious and curious person who has experience in DevOps and wants to join our motivated and all-round awesome team to help us shape the future of money. Here’s what we expect from you:

• Several years of experience in modern JavaScript web frameworks such as Angular (preferred), Re-act or Vue
• Be comfortable working with CLI and containers (Docker)
• Be experienced in working with Kubernetes in production environment
• Be experienced in working with relational databases in production (preferably PostgreSQL)
• Be experienced in working with automation tools such as Ansible
• Have an advanced understanding of Azure cloud services and their managed services
• Have extended knowledge of the Linux operating system
• Have basic networking skills (IPsec VPN, routing, etc.) as well as general security awareness
• Be passionate about financial markets
• Be a team player who challenges and supports others
• Professional working proficiency in English
