Senior Front End Engineer

Our company is the leading iGaming operators and suppliers in the Americas and we are looking for the right candidate to grow with us and help us achieve this goal.

Here at Rush Street Interactive we are in the early stages of rearchitecting our largely monolithic web application in to a cross-platform hybrid application. For this, we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with working knowledge of React to join the team and be an integral part of the modernisation of our tech stack and architecture. Player relationships management

PRM team deals with highly regulated features such as geolocation, player exclusion flows, and other core platform functionalities. Given the nature of the scope, there is a much higher need for robustness and reliability for the work produced by this team.

Tech stack

Our chosen stack is React + TypeScript + Capacitor with each product team producing self-contained microfrontends. The stack we are replacing is jQuery/Bootstrap/Backbone/SASS.


In order to succeed you need

Deep knowledge of React, JavaScript and the JavaScript ecosystem
Experience in developing performant websites
Analytical and solution-oriented mindset
Skills to navigate fast in large codebase, great troubleshooting skills
Eagerness to constantly learn and update your skills, and you like to share knowledge with others
Self-starter attitude with a high degree of initiative and a positive mindset
Understanding or strong interest in Agile methods such as Scrum/Kanban, Domain and Test-Driven Development, and Continuous Delivery
Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
Collaborate closely with teammates and help grow their abilities through technical contributions and mentorship
