Responsibilities:

• 3-5 years of experience in a position of Independent Accountant or similar, experience in finance & accounting as well as with taxes
• Experience in a multinational company, ideally with partly outsourced accounting
• Master Degree in Finance/Accounting
• Accounting certificates (ACCA, CIMA, Tax Advisor, local equivalent or ongoing)
• Minimum B2 in English,
• Proficiency with MS Outlook and Office applications. Good knowledge of MS Excel is essential.
• Experience with ERP systems
• Strong Business Awareness.
• Strong decision-making and analytical skills and ability to work independently, including working on projects, with minimal involvement from management;
• Able to work effectively with others in a team
• Ability to adapt and implement new procedures as required
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively work with many levels and types of people

Requirements:

• Maintaining high quality of accounting books
• Responsible for accounting reporting for both Group and Statutory purposes
• First point of contact for external partners to which accounting- and tax processes are outsourced (accountancy, local legislation compliance);
• Provide data to the external partner regarding statutory financial statements, cooperation with auditors during yearly audit
• Ensure robust compliance environment with SOX, internal controls, accounting policies and procedures.
• Coordinate and support the execution of activities related to internal and external audit requirements,
• Work closely with BPO accounting teams to resolve discrepancies, issues and queries for accounting related matters in a timely manner,
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end reporting
• Prepare all documentation for monthly accruals and prepayments
• Review and prepare Balance Sheet Reconciliation and prepare Balance Sheet reviews
• Regular focus on Balance sheets to minimize open items
• Identifying and implementing process improvement initiatives and best practices,
• Maintain good working relationships with other Teams
• Ad hoc tasks and projects to improve processes defined by direct manager
• Potentially participation in tax related matters (depending on candidate’s experience, not a must)
