Cyber Security Engineer

Cybernetica helps companies and governments launch new services that must be trustworthy or have to protect personal data better than before. We have helped build the X-road, Smart-ID, Estonian internet voting, Estfeed, Sharemind and more. We work with international R&D customers, developing new information security, cybersecurity and privacy technologies that will be in the products of tomorrow.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Planning and designing the security architecture of information systems,
• Developing and testing the security solutions,
• Performing security controls in compliance with the security architecture and security requirements,
• Managing and developing of security platforms,
• Participating in finding solutions to information security incidents,
• Writing and updating technical documentation.

Prerequisites:

• Experience with cyber security or privacy-preserving technologies projects,
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a security engineer,
• Advanced degree in IT or engineering,
• An understanding of cryptography,
• Information security certifications,
• Excellent organizational and planning skills,
• Very good written and spoken English,
• High level of responsibility and systematic approach to your work.

You will stand out by having any of the following:

• Academic degree in cryptography, information security or cybersecurity.
