Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience in developing web-based apps;
• A confident understanding of JavaScript and APIs;
• Ability to communicate with clients, colleagues and contractors;
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills;
• Knowledge of online retail and SaaS ecommerce platforms is preferable.

The Role

To develop, maintain and update back-end apps and integrations for Calashock’s global client base, working alongside a growing team in our Tallinn office.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Create, deploy and maintain robust custom JavaScript apps and integrations that connect into BigCommerce ecommerce websites and third-party apps through APIs;
• Testing and debugging apps before deployment and handover to clients;
• Work with colleagues to solve architectural challenges;
• Assist colleagues by providing specific advice on technical aspects of client pitches and ad-hoc work requests;
• Follow industry best practices;
• Keeping well-informed of job knowledge and best practices by tracking technology and programming language advances, taking part in professional development opportunities, and reading industry publications and websites.
