About this opportunity

What you’ll be doing:

-Work proactively and independently with correspondent banking relationships in transaction monitoring.
-Conduct research on items that are unusual in nature, which includes analysing and investigating alerts and customer networks for suspicious activity
-Analyse complex activity and identify correct conclusion based on the findings
-Investigate and analyse customer behaviour and prepare written narratives or other reports according to regulatory guidelines, internal procedures and timeframes
-Support colleagues and managers and be part of keeping your unit updated with regulatory changes and latest trends in the industry
-Take a pro-active role in building up a strong and competent investigation team in Tallinn
-Work together with highly dedicated specialists locally and in the Nordic countries

Skills & Experience:

-Knowledge and experience with cross-border payments and correspondent banking
-Able to read and understand SWIFT messages and transaction routing
-Knowledgeable about corporate structures and international business
-Experience within the AML/CTF area and/or compliance value chain
-Experience with large corporates and institutions is an advantage
-Insight/knowledge within relevant legislation (e.g. AML, data privacy act, GDPR etc.) is an advantage
-High level of written, spoken and understanding English (minimum B2 level). Some experience with Scandinavian language is an advantage
-Excellent computer skills with e.g. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel). Experience from using data analytics tools is an advantage
-ICA, ACAMS (CAMS) or other relevant certifications as an advantage
