We are looking for a legal counsel in Baltic General Legal team for being active and supportive legal partner for bonds and covered bonds issuances, other legal activities within Treasury area, data privacy topics, overall procurement agreements’ support within Luminor Group.

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice and support in debt capital markets area (the issuance of bonds, covered bonds and other funding instruments), in capital requirements area and other legal support to Treasury department, arrange external legal consultancy, if needed;
• Provide legal expert level knowledge in data privacy area; 
• Review and prepare service level agreements, purchase and other contracts for Luminor Group; 
• Participate in pan-Baltic projects, work in pan-Baltic team; 
• Interact with Luminor’s internal and external stakeholders.

Skills and experience:

•   Master’s degree in Law;
• 3-5 years of experience in financial sector, law firms with strong knowledge in capital markets area and/or data privacy area; 
• Self-motivation with the ability to work independently, follow deadlines and effectively manage time; 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; 
• High ethical standards, strong sense of responsibility and commitment to results; 
• Shown ability to handle responsibility and a demanding work environment;
• Ability to work under pressure; 
• Be confident to deal with demanding stakeholders and be able positively influence them; 
• Full working proficiency of English and Estonian (written and verbal)
