Agronomist

Applicants should have
• thorough understanding of forage and crop production.
• Proven work experience track. International background would be a significant asset.
• University degree in plant science/ agronomy/ crop production, related subjects.
• Proficient software use on field-work-documentary, machinery costs and nutrient field budgets.
• Advanced English skills and driving license (obligatory).

General skills and ambitions needed
• A ‘can do’ attitude, proactive, honest, flexible, curious, and reliable.
• Ability and motivation to work in a dedicating and challenging real teamwork approach.
• Acceptance and own interest in clear operation task planning and matching milestones.
• Highly flexible working time and working inputs during peak vegetation times.

• Monitor, control and benchmark forage and crop production key figures.
• Centralize all farm field records and daily/weekly reporting.
• Review crop production planning and identify optimization potential.
• Survey and monitor crop growth, weed, pest and disease pressure in the fields.
• Review quality and location of rented fields.
• Listen to our farm management personal to understand their needs and requirements.
• Cooperate closely with our overall fleet manager to keep track records of field machinery.
• Support and ensure our farms follow and fulfill all legal requirement and obligation of the state authorities for field-farm operations, field input use, and environmental issues.
