In order to ensure timely implementation of regulatory and contractual requirements and to enable the anticipation of upcoming requirements for establish a competitive edge, a dedicated ESG regulatory analysis and implementation expert with an excellent execution capability is needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing ESG relevant regulatory acts, preparing gap analysis to our current systems and processes and preparing the implementation action plans and following-up on the implementation with the stakeholders (part of Registry of Regulatory Changes process)
  • Consolidating and aggregating all regulatory requirements related to requirements for reporting, data and products processes
  • Coordinating the policy, process framework, data, reporting and product related changes in the Bank
  • Analyze the Bank´s credit and investment products end to end sales processes in such a level of detail that it is possible to understand, where process changes (in which process steps) are required as well as understand the underlying systems and data structures to understand, where which new data requirements are need to be implemented 
  • Drafting, reviewing and approving relevant internal regulations meaning Strategies, Policies, Standards, Procedures, Guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures and User Manuals relating to ESG
  • Following-up and/or closing relevant Compliance and Internal Audit findings within agreed deadlines 
  • Preparing responses to questions, inquiries or inspections by Supervisory Authorities
  • Advise on various regulatory requirements and matters related to implementation of those requirements
  • Provide internal trainings on the relevant internal and external regulations
  • Monitor ESG compliance with external and internal regulations across Luminor Group by carrying out compliance assurance and integrity reviews and tests
Skills and experience:
  • More than 5 years of legal and banking products related regulatory analysis experience
  • 3+ years of ESG regulatory implementation experience e.g. EU taxonomy, RSFD, TCFD, or UNEP FI 
  • Great knowledge of credit and investment products, processes and IT systems of the Bank
  • Strong business process management understanding
  • Extensive experience in credit, leasing, payments, investments and/or insurance regulatory requirements
  •  Previous experience in creating internal regulations (Policies, Procedures and etc.)
  • Master degree in Finance or Law will be considered beneficial
  • Thoroughness, accuracy and accountability
  • Ability to complete extensive and complex tasks 
  • Strong execution capability 
  • Advanced level of English language
