“OnTarget Labs”, a new European Union division of “OnTarget” US-based company, is looking for a Senior IT Engineer to join the company for a full-time position.
OnTarget (www.ontarget-group.com) - is global outsourcing IT organization with a head office located in Research Triangle Park Raleigh, NC, USA. The company was founded in 2003 and has several offices located around the world. OnTarget division Saint-Petersburg, Russia, was established over 15 years ago and employs 400+ IT professionals.
Our new European Union division in Riga, Latvia, was established in 2018 and offers a number of vacancies for IT professionals. Requirements:
- Knowledge and experience with VMWare ESXi and vCenter administration;
- Solid knowledge and experience with Windows and Red Hat Linux servers;
- ELK stack admin skills are required (working with XPack would be a plus);
- Practical experience with IPSec and Remote Access VPN;
- Experience in working with ticket management systems (Jira, TFS);
Would be a plus:
- Experience with source control and CI/CD systems;
- Experience with Azure;
- Some containerization experience like OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes;
- Good written and spoken English, be able to communicate clearly and effectively with customers directly;
- Russian is a plus;

- Perform custom Product deployments. The successful candidate will be trained on these procedures by the Customer Team.
- Linux Patching of Development and Production systems by schedule;
- Handling end-user requests;
- Administering and maintaining gear (and possibly working on IT projects) associated with several Customer locations (6 offices distributed all over the world);
