About the Opportunity
EasyBusinessInEstonia.com is managing the selection of an Operations & Customer Manager / Production Manager on behalf of one of its clients.
The position is within an Estonian production company operating in the pet food manufacturing sector, controlled by an international industrial group.
The Role
The Operations & Customer Manager / Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily operations within the production facility, ensuring efficiency, quality, and alignment with group standards.
This role combines operational leadership, production planning and customer process coordination and represents a key position within the local organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate daily operations within the production facility
- Plan and optimize production schedules and resource allocation
- Coordinate and support operational and production staff
- Oversee order management processes from intake to fulfilment
- Supervise and support Operations & Customer Associates
- Monitor operational performance indicators (efficiency, delivery accuracy, customer satisfaction)
- Identify risks, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities
- Implement corrective and preventive actions
- Ensure effective coordination across production, logistics, quality and sales
- Collaborate with senior management to execute operational strategies aligned with group objectives
Required Experience & Skills
Mandatory
- Minimum 3 years of experience in operations or production management within a manufacturing or production environment
- Solid experience in production planning and process optimization
- Proven leadership and people management skills
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to work with KPIs
- Customer-oriented approach with strong communication skills
- Proficiency in ERP systems, production planning tools, and Microsoft Office
- Fluency in English
Preferred
- 5 or more years of experience in a similar role
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- Fluent Estonian language skills
