Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Law and the objective of attaining a Master’s Degree in Law.
- Deep interest in understanding the inner workings of a crypto-asset exchange.
- Excellent written and oral English and Estonian (native or C1 level).
- Estonian citizenship or residency with eligibility to work in Estonia
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
Job description
The role is suitable for early-career professionals eager to grow in a fast-evolving legal environment. You will provide legal support to the Head of Legal in ensuring regulatory compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and preparing the company for upcoming changes in regulatory requirements. The role enables you to grow into an in-house legal specialist in the crypto-asset sector.
Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research on applicable laws and regulations (e.g. MiCA, PSD2/PSD3, DORA, GDPR, AML).
- Draft and review legal documents (e.g. internal policies and procedures, customer-facing legal documents, contracts).
- Corporate secretary duties (e.g. draft resolutions and minutes, manage correspondence, update database).
- Draft legal opinions.
- Organise documents.
- Other daily tasks assigned by the Head of Legal or company management.
