Facilities & Logistics Assistant
The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Estonia seeks a full-time staff for the position of Facilities & Logistics Assistant
1. Estimated Starting Date: February-March 2026
2. Job Description: Administrative & Facilities Assistant
Facilities & Logistics Assistant provides day-to-day operational support to the Administrative Manager of the Embassy. The role ensures the smooth functioning, upkeep, and logistical support of Embassy premises and activities.
3. Duties for this position include:
· Assist the Administrative Manager with the maintenance and general upkeep of Embassy buildings and premises
· Coordinate and carry out minor repairs and maintenance tasks; liaise with external contractors when required
· Perform driving duties, including transporting staff, official visitors, documents, and supplies
· Run official errands such as deliveries, purchases, and administrative collections
· Provide support in the Embassy kitchen, including basic food preparation, serving during official events, and maintaining cleanliness
· Assist with set-up and logistics for meetings, receptions, and official functions
· Monitor supplies and assist with inventory and stock management
· Ensure compliance with safety, security, and hygiene standards within Embassy facilities

4. Working hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 am 5:00 pm with a possibility of overtime work.
5. Additional information:
A competitive salary will be offered, commensurate with the successful candidate's experience and qualifications. Employees are entitled to annual leave, sick leave, and public holidays (in addition to Estonian public holidays, some Czech holidays are also observed). 6. Requirements:
- Estonian citizenship or Residence permit for employment in Estonia.
- Good mental and physical health.
- Fluency in Estonian and English. Candidates with Czech language proficiency will be given strong preference.
- Previous experience in administrative support, facilities, or general services is an advantage
- Valid driving license and good driving record
- Practical, hands-on approach with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliability, discretion, and respect for confidentiality
- Flexibility to support occasional events outside regular working hours
