What are we looking for?
Nobody is perfect and we don't expect you to be. You're likely to succeed in this role if you meet around 80% of the criteria below:
- Proven track record of delivering results in complex hardware product development, especially in fast-paced environments.
- Good understanding of how mechanical, electrical, and software components interact in integrated systems.
- Proficiency with CAD engineering tools such as SolidWorks, or Solid Edge.
- A problem-solving mindset with strong troubleshooting skills, especially in interdisciplinary, real-world systems.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse, cross-functional teams.
- Degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
🚀 Your mission
You will on hands-on engineering, driving high-impact design and innovation while working closely with cross-functional teams.
- Goal Definition & Problem Solving: Work with business and product teams to understand pain points, define goals, and clarify functional requirements.
- Design & Development: Design, develop, and refine mechanical systems. Apply design-for-manufacture principles with consideration for the full product lifecycle.
- Systems Integration: Collaborate with electronics, mechanical, and software teams to ensure seamless integration, resolve mismatches, and optimize performance.
- Product Optimization: Contribute to the design, testing, and validation of mechanical and electrical components to ensure safety, efficiency, and performancewhile keeping cost-efficiency in mind.
- Documentation & Testing: Prepare detailed technical documentation and participate in testing processes to validate design integrity and ensure reliability.
- Team Support: Provide technical support to fellow engineers and share knowledge to encourage best practices within the hardware team.
During 2025, we expect you to make a strong technical contribution to the development of our breakthrough inspection technology. You'll play an important role in:
- Finalizing the New Design: Support the completion and refinement of our product, including both active and passive cooling solutions, ensuring the design is robust and ready for production.
- Showing Initiative: Demonstrate a proactive mindset by taking ownership of your tasks, suggesting improvements where relevant, and contributing to a positive team dynamic.
- Offering a Fresh Perspective: Bring your experience and ideas to the table your insights will help broaden the team's thinking and add value to ongoing discussions.
