The opportunity
In this role, you will lead the VAT operations team within General Accounting, ensuring the complete, accurate, and timely processing of VAT-related transactions. You will drive compliance with internal policies and external VAT regulations across multiple jurisdictions.

How you´ll make an impact
- Providing leadership and VAT expertise to the Common Shared Services Finance team, with a strong focus on indirect tax process excellence.
- Leading a team responsible for VAT compliance, reporting, and reconciliation, while continuously improving and standardizing processes.
- Fully managing human resource planning, selection, and development of team members.
- Ensuring timely and accurate VAT filings and reconciliations, as well as supporting financial and business reporting cycles.
- Collaborating with internal control owners to strengthen VAT-related controls and ensure audit readiness.
- Monitoring and reporting on VAT-specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Supporting the implementation of strategic and operational plans set by the Finance Delivery Manager General Accounting.

Your background
- Proven experience in VAT, indirect tax, or accounting (preferably in a shared services or multinational environment).
- Experience in leading or coordinating a team.
- Strong understanding of VAT regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ability to foster collaboration and trust within the team.
- Ability to engage and motivate team members.
- Proficiency in English.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
