We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team working with the SAS Infrastructure for Risk Management (IRM) platform, focusing on capital adequacy. This is a technical role, but we place a high value on strong business knowledge in the capital adequacy domain. If you're technically curious and willing to learn SAS, well support your growth.

In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:
  • Design and implement use cases witch supports test driven development to simulate and test various capital adequacy scenarios using data-driven approaches.
  • Analyze results and adapt the SAS IRM environment to reflect business needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Integrate and customize new releases of the SAS IRM solution, ensuring compatibility with our tailored configurations.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to interpret system outputs, explain key metrics, and provide insights into capital adequacy calculations.
  • Maintain and monitor the SAS IRM system, including test runs, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
What is needed in this role:
    • Background in banking, particularly within capital adequacy or credit risk functions, is a significant advantage.
    • Development skills and an interest in learning the SAS platform, including:
      • SAS Data Integration Studio
      • SAS Management Console
      • SAS Enterprise Guide
      • SAS Visual Analytics
      • SAS Viya
    • Experience with version control tools, such as GIT.
    • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and service.
    • A team player who thrives in collaborative environments.
    • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
    • A relevant university degree in a technical or financial field.
