Starship Technologies OÜ

Starship Technologies is revolutionizing deliveries with autonomous robots. These robots are designed to deliver food, groceries, and packages across college campuses and neighborhoods in minutes. Starship has now completed millions of autonomous deliveries to date, traveled millions of miles, and is currently doing more than 140k road crossings each day. Our contribution to society includes reducing congestion and pollution, providing zero-emissions deliveries, increasing the quality of life for residents, empowering seniors and disabled people, and enabling affordable delivery for local businesses.

We're hitting records on an almost weekly basis. Now is an exciting time to join as we grow rapidly around the world!

We're looking for a Training Team Lead to join the Remote Assistance team. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring that our Training Specialists are equipped with the knowledge, tools, and confidence they need to deliver exceptional training to our Remote Assistance team members. You'll design and lead engaging, impactful training programs and continuously improve learning experiences based on feedback and performance data.

Your main responsibilities are:
  • Lead, mentor, and coach a team of trainers, fostering collaboration and high performance.
  • Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
  • Manage team schedules and allocate resources efficiently.
  • Monitor and evaluate training program effectiveness using feedback and performance data.
  • Identify improvement areas and implement solutions to enhance training quality and impact.
  • Communicate training plans, progress, and outcomes effectively with stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate training databases and generate reports on training activities and results.

A regular work day may include tasks like:
  • Addressing any immediate challenges or roadblocks faced by the training team.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders (e.g., Operations, Product, Outsource partners, etc) to understand upcoming training needs and align strategies.
  • Preparing and presenting reports on training activities and outcomes to relevant stakeholders.
  • Reviewing and refining training materials based on feedback and evolving requirements.

What's in it for you?
  • Opportunity to work on industry-leading self-driving delivery robot technology on a uniquely large scale, creating history and making things happen.
  • You can immerse yourself in the world of technology and innovation.
  • You will have a chance to work with people with a strong inner burning and motivation. We are self-aware and seek feedback and improvement. We don't want to wait until we are told what needs to be done, but take it as a matter of pride to figure out solutions for topics in various teams and areas.
  • You'll have endless opportunities to learn from our inspirational, talented team members across the globe.

What we hope you'll bring to the table:
  • Progressive experience in designing, developing, and delivering training programs.
  • At least 2 years of experience leading teams or managing projects.
  • Proven skills in team leadership, motivation, and development, as well as coaching and performance management.
  • A strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design.
  • Excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills - both in-person and virtually.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Solid analytical skills for needs assessment and developing effective solutions.
  • Experience working in a high-growth, international tech company or startup environment.
  • Proven track record of delivering technical product training.
  • A bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Any of the following would be beneficial:
  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS), e-learning tools, and training technologies.
  • Professional certifications in training and development.
  • A strong understanding of the tech industry - experience with robotics or autonomous systems is a bonus.
  • Experience delivering training in logistics, delivery operations, or other customer-facing environments.
