Role
As our BI Specialist, you'll be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimising Qlik-based dashboards and reports that deliver actionable insights across the business. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs, design efficient models, and ensure data integrity and usability.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Qlik
- Translate complex data sets into clear and compelling business insights
- Work closely with business stakeholders to define KPIs and reporting requirements
- Optimize data models and load scripts for performance and scalability
- Monitor BI tool performance and troubleshoot data/reporting issues
- Support end-users with training and documentation
- Support and contribute to integration work between Qlik and other platforms, systems, or data sources (e.g., CRM, Data warehouse, APIs)
Qualifications
Must-haves:
- Proficiency in English
- 2+ years of experience in BI development with a strong focus on Qlik
- Proficiency in scripting, data modelling, and set analysis in Qlik
- Experience connecting and transforming data from various sources (e.g., SQL, Excel, APIs)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of data warehousing principles and ETL processes
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Nice-to-haves:
- Hands-on experience with integration between Qlik and third-party systems (e.g., HubSpot, Business Central, Redshift)
- Familiarity with other BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Background in CRM/ERP data sources (e.g., HubSpot, Business Central)
- Basic knowledge of Python or R for data analysis
- Understanding of GDPR and data privacy practices
