Requirements for candidates
Currently we are looking for a Financial Controller to join our team in Estonia. In the role you will be responsible for all matters related to finance management starting from planning to reporting. You will be an active member of country leadership team working closely with business leaders supporting them in driving and achieving business outcomes. This role demands an excellent communication and influencing skills, critical thinking and finance management abilities, a hands-on mentality and someone who can navigate the complexities of a dynamic environment.
Must have qualifications for the candidates:
- Higher education in finance, economics, or business administration and management;
- At least 5 years of experience in financial and accounting management ;
- Strong practical knowledge of accounting standards and tax accounting;
- Confidence in working with BI tools for data analysis and insights building;
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills;
- Good communication skills and a continuous improvement mindset;
- Proficiency with MS Office suite programs (especially MS Excel);
- Fluency in English and Estonian;
Useful skills:
- Work experience with Microsoft Dynamics BC, Power BI, or SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC);
- Experience in managerial positions and working in international environment;
- Experience in cooperation with external accounting partners;
Job description
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensure compliance with local regulations;
- Create and control accounting and financial policies; adhere to the group management accounting standards, processes and guidelines, ensure their proper implementation;
- Develop, implement and maintain internal control systems to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting;
- Lead preparation of the budget and financial forecasts (P/L, balance sheet and cash flow projections); track, analyze and report variances;
- Monitor and manage cash flow ensuring the company's financial stability;
- Prepare financial reports and present them to the management and stakeholders; provide insights and recommendations to support decision-making process;
- Develop and implement initiatives supporting strategic business directions in accordance with the financial capability of the company;
- Coordinate external audits; manage relationships with banks, insurance companies, external accounting partner and financial institutions;
- Collaborate with group and local management, and other departments, contributing to achievement of overall business objectives; provide assistance to colleagues in financial and accounting questions and issues;
