Requirements
- Proven experience as a Head of Compliance is a strong advantage.
- 7+ years of experience in financial compliance and regulatory matters.
- Expert knowledge of MiFID II, MiFIR, AML 6th EU Directive, AML/CTF regulations, and international sanctions.
- Familiarity with regulatory reporting and communication with authorities.
- Strong understanding of corporate governance and risk management practices.
- Excellent reporting and record-keeping skills.
- Business acumen paired with a strong commitment to regulatory compliance.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess complex regulations.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Fluent in Estonian and English (both written and verbal).
- Degree in Law; Certified Compliance Professional is a plus.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee compliance control systems to prevent or address legal and policy violations.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance the efficiency of internal controls.
- Identify risks or non-conformities through periodic reviews of procedures and reports.
- Draft, modify, and implement company policies and guidelines.
- Collaborate with senior management and various departments to monitor regulatory enforcement.
- Assess new business ventures for potential compliance risks.
- Provide advice, training, and compliance oversight to colleagues.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices in compliance control.
- Prepare reports for senior management and external regulatory authorities.
