Join Stora Enso's Packaging Solutions division as an Accountant Pay-to-Purchase (PtP) in our PtP team, based in Tallinn. Reporting directly to the Team Lead, AP, this role provides an opportunity for a finance professional looking to advance their career in a company committed to sustainability and innovation.

In this permanent position, you will oversee accounts payable processes, ensure adherence to financial policies, enhance operational efficiencies, and cultivate strong vendor relationships. You will also collaborate proactively with business units and other teams to drive financial excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the control responsible for the team in AP-related controls, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
- Monitor and maintain assigned AP ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and reporting inconsistencies.
- Execute daily clerical and closing-related AP tasks according to process flows, timelines, and quality standards.
- Perform reconciliations, clearings, and closing tasks, including accruals.
- Address and resolve supplier-related queries efficiently, ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.
- Support invoice processing when needed, ensuring compliance with agreed deadlines.
- Promote the use of purchase orders (POs) and e-invoicing adoption among vendors to enhance compliance and efficiency.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and lead and participate in PtP-related projects.
Who are we looking for?
- You have a BSc Degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting or a relevant professional qualification and experience in Accounts Payable (AP) or Purchase-to-Pay or a similar finance area.
- Knowledge of AP processes, including invoice processing, reconciliations, and closing tasks is vital.
- Ability to effectively implement and maintain AP-related controls is required.
- Strong knowledge of SAP (FI/MM).
- Knowledge of e-Invoicing and automation tools is seen as an advantage.
- You have strong attention to details and ability to understand cause and effect relationships.
- You are solution-oriented and can always deliver against set targets and deadlines.
- Within the team you are a flexible team player, with proactive and business-minded attitude and ability to take responsibility.
- You possess excellent stakeholder management skills to effectively engage and collaborate with various internal and external parties.
- Strong communication skills both verbally and written in English are needed; other language skills are a significant asset.
- Ability and readiness to work from our Tallinn office.
