You are best for this role if you have:
- A Masters degree in Law is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a legal role that requires a Masters degree in Law, ideally within the financial or investment sector.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate law, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance related to financial institutions.
- Proven expertise in drafting and reviewing various types of agreements, including those specified above.
- Demonstrated capability in managing legal projects within an organization.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain complex legal matters clearly to non-legal stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, paired with analytical thinking and effective problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work autonomously while promoting teamwork and collaboration within a group setting.
- Fluency in both Estonian and English is essential; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
Your daily activities as a Lawyer will be:
- Provide expert advice on regulatory requirements for investment firms, ensuring compliance with financial regulations in collaboration with the organizations internal compliance team and external consultants.
- Deliver high-quality legal support on matters related to corporate law and corporate governance.
- Offer guidance on partnership agreements involving marketing service providers and other third-party collaborators.
- Provide legal counsel on employment contracts and consultancy agreements.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing agreements with vendors and outsourcing partners, including technology providers, compliance services, and other external functions.
- Manage and oversee legal projects within the organization, ensuring effective coordination with internal stakeholders and external advisors.
