About the job
Were looking for an Accounting Specialist to join our team in Tallinn or Tartu. In this role, you´ll play a pivotal part in managing our accounting processes, ensuring accuracy, and driving efficiency. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a knack for numbers, we want to hear from you!
What you will do
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and other financial records.
- Manage payroll-related activities in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes.
- Assist with tax preparation and compliance in collaboration with external auditors.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to financial policies and regulations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.
- Aligning and closely collaborating with other teams (mainly HR, Customer Support, Product Development, and Latvian and Lithuanian accounting).
What we are looking for
- 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance.
- A strong desire to improve the interfaces with accounting program to make the systems automatic.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Directo) and Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills in Estonian and English.
