We're seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of KYC to join us. As the first line of defense, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our compliance with regulatory requirements while maintaining excellent customer relationships. In this pivotal position, you'll oversee all aspects of our KYC and CDD processes, from initial customer due diligence to ongoing monitoring and risk assessment. You'll lead a team dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of customer service while implementing robust AML/CFT and sanctions measures.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management
- Maintaining ongoing relationships with existing customers
- Handling customer inquiries and complaints
- Providing timely and effective support
- Collecting and processing customer feedback
- Handling order-related customer communications
Customer Due Diligence (CDD)
- Conduct initial and ongoing customer due diligence
- Collect and verify customer information and identity
- Perform customer risk assessments
- Gather and maintain up-to-date customer information
Transaction Monitoring
- Identifying and managing risks in their daily activities
- Monitor customer transactions for suspicious activities
Team Leadership
Cross-functional collaboration
Requirements:
- Proven compliance or CDD experience (minimum 3 years) in the financial sector, ideally within crypto, investment firm or fintech.
- Proven leadership experience
- Proficiency in English (C1 level).
- Deep understanding of compliance-related regulatory frameworks, including MiCA, AML/CFT law, and sanctions regulations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make independent decisions.
- Estonian citizenship or residency with eligibility to work in Estonia.
- Transparent and clean background.
As an advantage:

- Proficiency in other languages.
