We are looking for a professional database administrator, who will ensure that our database operates smoothly 24/7, facilitating a seamless flow of information throughout the company. This involves managing both backend data structures and frontend accessibility for end-users. The ultimate outcome of a database administrator's work is the reliability and uninterrupted usability of large data collections.

Day-to-day tasks

Building a database system and creating logical connections between data
Responsibility for ensuring that both the company's employees and end users receive trouble-free answers to their requests
Writing codes related to databases (MySQL, MariaDB)
Ensuring that the data is securely protected, and if necessary, do the recovery of lost data
Making security fixes for updates and maintaining servers
Assisting and training other information systems professionals who come into contact with databases in their work
Monitor database performance, implement changes and apply new patches and versions when required
Ensuring that the databases are set up in such a way that maximum availability is ensured using minimum resources.

Professional knowledge and skills

Previous experience with DBA case tools (frontend/backend) and third party tools
Good orientation in the IT field in general
Knowledge of operating systems (Linux)
Must have experience with MySQL and MariaDB (bonus for DuckDB)
