About this opportunity
You are welcome to our Corporate Actions team in the Asset and Issuer Services unit. We are a cross-border international team. We create value by handling global corporate actions in both equity and fixed income markets. We strive to constantly evolve the operational side of our process to meet the demands of our customers. Our team services various customer groups with holdings in Nordea including retail, business and LC&I clients.
The role is based in Tallinn, with a possibility to work partly remotely.
What youll be doing and learning about as the Service Operations Officer:
- Be responsible for processing relevant corporate actions, like splits, mergers, acquisitions, bond exchanges, etc.
- Presenting summary of offerings to customers and stakeholders in an accurate, condensed, and timely manner
- Ensuring operational best practice and and acting as sparring partner along the entire value chain on both technical and process related matters
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders along the value chain such as advisors, Nordea Markets, Brokers, Branch offices, corporate and institutional clients, and custodian banks
- Driving the teams agenda to make the operating model more efficient, more scalable and less prone to risk over time

- Great communication skills in English, both in writing and speaking

- Proactive and collaborative mindset
- Fluency in Danish language (level B1) is an advantage
