Description
Marabu Airlines is seeking a passionate and driven individual to join our team as a Document Specialist, who will play a vital role in the growth and success of our airline.
You will assist Director Flight Operations in keeping oversight in our Flight Operations Department and perform any task related to that oversight.
Key responsibilities:
- Editing, following up, sifting through legal requirements, publications and air law, collecting data and material for updates, to advise head of departments accordingly, publishing and physically distributing following manuals:
- Part A, B and C under supervision and direction of Flight Ops Manager
- Part D under supervision and direction of Training Manager
- MEL under supervision and direction of the Flight Operations Manager
- Point of contact with authors of other manuals such as SEP Manual, GOM, etc to coordinate contents with O.M.
- To determine the usability of destinations and writing airport qualification briefings for airport and route familiarization
- Supervising the updating of on-board documentation.
- Giving training to other departments in ANR such as Mass & Balance Preparation, OCC refreshers (MEL, Ops Manuals, etc)
Requirements:
The Document Specialist shall have adequate knowledge of:
- EU regulations related to operations and procedures
- Aviation operations specifications and the relevant parts of the operations manual, and
- Management Systems and Safety Management System
Requirements:
- Proven experience in working with EASA manuals, web manuals, or similar
- Experience in editing and managing documents
- Expertise in editing and publishing aviation manuals
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
