Software Engineering Intern with Java
By joining our Cards Development Team, you will be working with various technologies and applications, maintaining and improving the performance of existing software, as well taking care of code quality, fitting the highest standards. Additionally, you will maintain documentation and keep it up to date, assist in solution design and testing as well as participate in improvement of CI/CD processes and agile development culture creation.
You will gain a strong understanding of Cards systems and technologies used within the industry. Main systems are back-end based and written in Java 8 or 11. As such we intend to modernize the tech stack and allow for the team to work with more modern development practices. As a result, you will get practical experience working on software engineering projects in a professional setting, being exposed to potential career paths within the banking and technology industries.
We expect you to you to have basic knowledge of any programming language, initiative to learn, be detail oriented, and have great analytical thinking skills. Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication. Preferred education in Computer Science or related field.
Software Engineering Intern with UI & DB
By joining our Palton Team, you will be involved in maintaining and improving existing software solutions used in the team, as well as helping the team with other relevant tasks related to it. In addition, you will be maintaining relevant documentation and keeping it up to date, this way ensuring our Team has actual data to work with. This way you will gain an understanding on how IT area is managed
You will gain an understanding on how IT area is managed in a bank, what are the projects and initiatives held in this specific team and what is the strategic outlook for the future. You will learn how to collaborate effectively in a multicultural environment, upskilling yourself by learning DB and UI programming.
We expect you to be passionate about IT area, be a quick learner with great logical thinking skill, be familiar with coding techniques (GitHub is an advantage), as well be familiar with Database & UI design and programming. Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication. Preferred education in Computer Science or related field.
