We are looking for a Java Back-End Developer to join our Bombay Live team.

Bombay Live has been thoughtfully developed by a team of industry experts driven by the vision to revolutionize the igaming vertical. Our product is designed for seamless play across all devices, with a special focus on mobile platforms. We take pride in offering round-the-clock customer support and multilingual accessibility, currently available in 14 languages with more in the pipeline.

In addition to our online platform, soon, players can take their online gaming experience to our exclusive private members Bombay club and hotel, complete with state-of-the-art gaming rooms, opening doors in Tallinn, Estonia. The innovative Bombay club concept will span the globe, including a luxurious yacht experience.

Your daily tasks will be 

• Design, develop, and maintain the backend of our applications.
  
• Write automated tests to ensure code quality and maintainability.
  
• Maintaining version control of all additions and updates using GIT and other tools.
  
• Maintain information in JIRA and Confluence to the expected level.
  
• Being ready to investigate, troubleshoot, and provide support for game issues.
  
• Participating in the code review process of all components.
  
• Maintain good communication with other team members.
  
• Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies, programming languages, and best practices in software development.

What we expect from you

• 2+ years of software development experience. Proficient in Java (11 and up), demonstrating a strong foundation in software development practices.
• Familiarity with Spring Framework, showcasing proficiency in building robust and scalable applications.
• Experience working with NoSQL databases, understanding the principles and implementation.
• Sound knowledge of RESTful APIs, with a bonus if you're acquainted with WebSocket technology.
• Proficient in code versioning tools such as Git, along with understanding branching models for effective collaboration in development projects.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail, enabling effective problem-solving in complex development scenarios.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment, ensuring adaptability to various work settings.
• Excellent communication skills, facilitating smooth collaboration and understanding among team members.
• Willingness to learn and grow as a developer, demonstrating a proactive attitude towards continuous improvement and skill enhancement.
• Good command of English, enabling effective communication and collaboration in an English-speaking work environment.
