Playtech's Infrastructure unit is looking for a systematic and keen-eyed Capacity Analyst.

Your influential mission. You will...
* Perform capacity planning and analysis of the IT infrastructure
* Be responsible for the development of capacity assessment tools and techniques for better accuracy and automation of the process
* Monitor the resource capacity of the components of the IT infrastructure
* Understand the current use of infrastructure and IT services and the maximum capacity of each component
* Raise incidents and problems when breaches of capacity or performance thresholds are detected
* Assist with the investigation and diagnosis of capacity-related incidents and problems
* Cooperate with various internal stakeholders, such as system specialists, developers, problem management, and project/product managers.

Components for success. You...
* Are proficient in working with MS Excel
* Have at least a little previous working experience with Python (including libraries like Pandas, Numpy, Sklearn), and you are familiar with the R programming language or any other object-oriented programming language
* Have solid knowledge of analytical and statistical methods
* Have minimum basic SQL skills
* Are a fan of analytical problem-solving and data analyses
* Already have relevant higher education (preferably in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Electronics, or Computer Science), or you are currently acquiring a degree
* Are a quick learner and able to see challenges as opportunities for development
* Have strong interpersonal skills and appreciate teamwork

The team is a part of Playtech's Infrastructure unit that provides private cloud platform services to all Playtech Products. We are an international team consisting of different nationalities. Our analytic skills are our best tools during everyday duties, which help us understand and improve IT Infrastructure capacity. We like doing things smarter by developing our own built-in tools, which automate the processes and provide better efficiency.
