We are now looking for a


to join our People & Culture (P&C) team which is responsible for developing and fostering the employee experience in Stockmann. As part of employee centric development, we are focusing on data driven decision making and process development.


As the People Insight & Transformation Specialist, you will be owning the people data and insights domain and collaborating closely with people process and solution owners to co-create meaningful insights. Your role is pivotal in enabling data-driven decision-making, enhancing our understanding of our people and our processes. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, leveraging data to drive informed people decisions and support the development of effective people strategies. 

This is a permanent position and you will be located either in Finland, Latvia or Estonia. We have seat available for you in our department store, but we do work in hybrid model, so you don´t need to be at office every single day.


Where is your expertise needed?

As the People Insight & Transformation Specialist you will collaborate with several internal stakeholders to identify opportunities and decision-making needs for data-driven improvements in people processes and initiatives. You will also provide guidance and recommendations based on data analysis to drive positive changes in people practices. In this role you will – together with process owners - define, track and analyze KPIs to assess the effectiveness of people solutions and initiatives and also design and develop reports, dashboards and visualizations to effectively communicate key people metrics and trends. 


On a daily basis you will for instance:

  • Develop and execute data analysis strategies to extract actionable insights from people-related data
  • Own employee survey and feedback strategies and their execution
  • Create and communicate data-driven insights to stakeholders, influencing strategic decisions
  • Monitor the effectiveness of changes and adjust strategies as needed
  • Oversee the collection and maintenance of the integrity of our people data together with process developers and HRIS/system key users, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with data privacy regulations
  • Collaborate with relevant people process developers, system super users and IT to ensure data inputs are collected and stored efficiently


What are we looking for?

Thanks to your education in applicable area (Human Resources, Psychology, Business management, Data Science) and your previous work history in similar area you have strong understanding of people processes, excellent problem-solving skills and you know how to connect data insights to business outcomes. Being passionate about HR related matters is definitely a good thing as you might get to work in different kind of HR projects.


In addition, you have

  • Excellent communication, collaboration and presentation skills 
  • Experience with data visualization and analysis techniques and tools 
  • Fluent English skills (both spoken and written) 


Experience in change management and familiarity with data privacy regulations (GDPR, HIPA) are seen as plus. We also wish you are a person who is eager to keep yourself updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the field of people analytics. And, of course, share the knowledge with the whole P&C team.
