Analysts to Group Financial Management

Do you want to join our team to build out our capacity in ESG reporting with a focus on EU Taxonomy and financed emissions?

We want to invite three new members to our team! In Nordea’s Group Financial Management function we work closely with functions across the bank to manage regulatory changes, capital processes and reporting on financed emissions and EU Taxonomy. By bringing your perspective, drive and engagement, you will be key to us and central to Nordea understanding our portfolio and from an ESG perspective.

About this opportunity

Within the Capital Management & Regulation function - a part of the Group Financial Management area - we are responsible for steering the capital position of Nordea and its subsidiaries, as well as Nordea reporting on EU Taxonomy, financed emissions reporting standards.

This is an opportunity for you to join a team dedicated to building up and applying the same diligence to Nordea ESG reporting as we apply to capital, to guide Nordea in our role in the transition towards a more sustainable economy.

By bringing your perspectives to the team, and through your focus on quality and collaboration, you will be important in helping us achieve our these strategic goals.

What you will be doing:
- Play a key role in strategic ESG projects, incl. building up our reporting competence and capacity
- Analyze requirements and impact of new ESG regulation and standards
- Develop and carry out reporting to senior management on key components of Nordea portfolio
- Join an open and inspiring atmosphere, where you will collaborate with colleagues across the bank

You will be part of a team of people located across the Nordics with different responsibilities and experiences, and will be supporting and creating communication with Nordea's senior management and supervisors.

We want diversity in the team and are looking for experienced analysts, as well as colleagues more recently entering this area.

The roles can be based in either Estonia, Finland or Sweden.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you:
- Have an understanding of banking and interest in ESG in banking context
- Enjoy collaborating with other professionals with a positive mindset
- Have the ability to explain complex topics in an uncomplicated way
- Fluent in written and spoken English (professional level)  

Your experience:
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills with experience using presentation tools (e.g. Powerpoint, BI tools)
- An academic degree in a relevant area
- Experience with stakeholder management in a high-pace environment is a plus
