Data Science Lead

Our Data Science team is looking for the Data Science Lead to focus on signal processing and time series data topics and projects. In this impactful role you will help to define and develop signal processing as a service & business direction at Proekspert.

Our goal is to find a specialist with strong technical knowledge and excellent communication skills, who is able to collaborate with customers and technical people, in order to define, originate and lead projects. Sounds like you?! We are waiting to hear from you!

What will you do?

• Focus on signal processing topics (signal analysis, anomaly detection,
  predictive maintenance) and projects.
• Analyze time series and tabular data (run SQL queries, transform & visualize tabular data, create roadmap).
• Communicate with business and technical people.
• Discuss projects with prospective clients, lead communication and negotiations.
• Understand client's requirements for data analysis and propose the best solutions.
• Undertake data collection, preprocessing, analysis and data transformation.
• Lead the project documentation.
• Support sales team in solution assessments and technology-wise.

What are we looking for?

• Proven Data Science experience with Python is a must.
• Understanding how business works, commercial Data Science experience.
• Solid practical skills in working with complex SQL database queries, visualization libraries (e.g. Matplotlib), Jupyter Notebooks.
• Background with control systems is very useful.
• Experience in writing technical parts of commercial proposals.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to lead client discussions and negotiations.
• Leadership skills, ability to work well independently and with the team.
• Background in mathematics, physics, robotics, computer science, mechatronics or chemistry is preferred.
• Excellent English.
