Requirements for candidates

Education & Experience
· Degree in Aviation Safety, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent qualification).
· 5 years of experience in aviation safety management, preferably within both flight operations and maintenance environments.
· Proven experience with EASA safety frameworks.
· Knowledge of Human Factors in aviation.
Skills & Competencies
· Strong knowledge of applicable EASA Regulations.
· Competence in hazard identification, risk management, and safety investigation techniques.
· Familiarity with EASA / ICAO Safety Management principles.
· Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and lead multidisciplinary teams.
· Very good command of written and spoken English (Estonian as a benefit).
Desirable
· Auditor training and/or compliance background.
· Experience with safety data analysis tools or reporting systems (e.g., ECCAIRS, SMSPro).
· Knowledge of turboprop type of aircraft.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage and continuously improve the Safety Management System in accordance with EASA and ICAO regulations.
· Monitor safety performance across the operation and maintenance domains, identifying and mitigating hazards and risks.
· Lead safety investigations, support postholders with root cause analysis, and oversee the development and implementation of corrective/preventive actions.
· Coordinate and facilitate safety meetings, safety promotion campaigns, and training initiatives.
· Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulatory requirements, including liaison with EASA, national authorities, and internal departments.
· Prepare and present safety reports to Accountable Manager(s) and relevant safety committees.
· Cooperate closely with Compliance Monitoring, Flight Operations, Maintenance, Ground Operations, and CAMO departments.
